Our story is love, faith, friends and coffee.
The four things that our brave and strong owner carries close to her heart.
Jade Wilson is our fearless owner who bought this coffee shop from dear friends who were looking to sell. It had always been a dream of hers to have her very own coffee shop. Jade is special needs and did not let that stop her from chasing after what she wants. So she named the coffee shop “special grounds.”
In the last 12 years the name has only become more of the truth. This coffee shop has a special feeling as soon as you walk in. Maybe it’s the christian music we play. Or the smiles on all of our baristas faces. I myself am convinced that it is because we hold love in our hearts for those four things that make up our story. Love, faith, friends and coffee.
